Transportation Information


The primary vehicular access to the site is from Chieftain Drive (US 33 Alternate) to the east and can be easily accessed from either the north or south direction.  Chieftain Drive is a two-lane road and there is good visibility for motorists turning into or out of the site. This site is located 2 miles from US 33 and 44 miles from I-270.


There are no direct rail lines available to the site.  Genesee & Wyoming Railway is located approximately 1 mile from the site.  Rickenbacker Inland Port is 45 miles northwest of the Logan-Hocking Commerce Park via US-33 and offers intermodal rail connections along with cargo-dedicated international flights and warehouse and distribution services.


The closest municipal airport is the Fairfield County Airport located approximately 20 miles north on US 33.  The John Glenn Columbus International Airport is located approximately 50 miles northwest of the site.



Natural gas service is provided to the site by Madison Energy Cooperative (MECA) and managed by Utility Pipeline, Ltd.  A 6-inch natural gas mainline comes from Iles Road, down Private Drive and then extends both directions on Industrial Park Drive with a 4-inch line to the west towards the cul-de-sac and a 6-inch line heading east towards Chieftan Drive. Delivery pressure is available for industrial customers at 5 to 50 psi.


Electric service is provided by AEP Ohio via an existing, single 12kV circuit to the park.  The circuit originates from the AEP Ohio West Logan Station which is 2.5 miles from the park.  AEP.   Service runs along Industrial Park Drive.  There is currently 5 MW available capacity to the site.


Potable water service is provided to Logan-Hocking Commerce Park by the City of Logan.  There is a water main that extends from Chieftain Drive down Industrial Park Drive.  Capacity for the site is 600,000 gallons per day.


Currently a sewer line runs along Industrial Park Drive, and service is provided by the City of Logan.  Excess capacity to the park is 225,000 gallons per day with no improvements.  However, if additional capacity is needed, the city can easily increase the capacity by upgrading pumps in the lift station located within the park to accommodate additional flows.  A 12-inch clay pipe is the mainline along Cheiftain Drive, and an 8-inch clay pipe has been extended to the property line along Industrial Park Drive.  These lines can accommodate 500,000 gallons per day.

Storm Sewer

Currently there are a few storm drains located on the property along Industrial Park Drive.  Storm sewer service can be available to all areas as development of the property begins.


Telecommunication and fiber optic services are provided by Frontier and Horizon.  Both services are available to the site.  The lines for these services currently run halfway into the park along Industrial Park Drive.
